Boogie Down & The Smokin' Soul Horns were extraordinary when we had them the first year for our Annual Dinner. So much so, we just had to get them again for this years Annual Dinner!!!! And yet again, they surprised us with their fabulous song choices and connection with the crowd.

We are a hard crowd to please especially since we've all got different tastes and are used to "clubbing it in Newcastle." Even more surprising was the fact that our more senior guests were just as enthusiastic about the music that they themselves stepped onto the dance floor to enjoy the vibe.

The energy delivered by the band through their interpretation of classics and even some contemporary work meant that everyone had a fabulous time and no one felt disconnected from the event. It's hard sometimes to find a band that will really liven up social events but they do it.

Given their popularity amongst our social network comprising of mainly university students, I hope to get them again next year and the year after that.

We booked Boogie Down & The Smokin' Soul Horns without knowing a whole lot about them but liking their music on the website. Right from the outset they were flexible and helpful on timings and the type of music they could include.

The wedding included people of all ages and with very different music tastes, but the band soon had the whole marquee dancing and really enjoying the music. The music was tight and professional and all the guests were blown away by it.

The price was great, particularly for such a big band, and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Boogie Down & The Smokin' Soul Horns to anyone.

What a fantastic performance!  Boogie Down were absolutely fabulous and all the guests commented on their superb energy and enthusiasm.  A great band to round off a wonderful day.  Many Thanks.
